Questions people ask before their first search
One submission of the Scout form. You choose 10, 25 or 50 prospects on a paid plan, or 3 on the free search. A search is counted when it starts. If it fails before it finds any businesses, it is not counted.
You get the ones that were found and checked, and the Scout is marked partial with the count. The search still counts, because the research was done.
Every search runs live on the public web when you start it. Each evidence item shows the date it was checked. Pages change, so look at the source before you contact anyone.
Six: no official website found, website not mobile friendly, website appears outdated, no social profiles found, social profile inactive, and posting regularly with low engagement. Each result says how the signal was established and what its limitation is. We do not measure page speed.
No. Public engagement counts are partial and say nothing about revenue. Treat it as a reason to start a conversation, not a diagnosis.
No. On Pro and Unlimited you can generate a short draft email from the evidence. You copy it into your own email client and decide whether to send it.
No. Create an account and run one search that returns 3 researched prospects. You only enter a card if you choose a paid plan.
Paid plans bill monthly through Stripe. Open Account, choose Manage billing, and cancel. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Email support within 14 days of your first payment with the email address on your account. Refunds are issued through Stripe to the original card.
Unlimited is for normal agency use. If an account passes 100 searches in a billing month we pause new searches and ask you to get in touch before running more.
Public web pages: business directories, maps listings, the business's own website and public social profiles. Signal Scout fetches those pages during your search and links to them. It does not use private data or buy lists.
